Sidesmen wanted at St Boniface

We are looking for responsible men and women willing to volunteer to act as sidesmen at our church services. Could you act as a "host" or "steward", welcoming people and helping in the smooth running of the services? The duties are not onerous; you would be asked to welcome churchgoers, give out books or service sheets, show strangers to seats, take the collection and help with collecting books and any tidying up afterwards.

You would not be required for duty every Sunday: there is a rota of sidesmen and you would be able to ask to be included on

the rota for the service that you usually attend. To begin with, you would be paired with an experienced sidesman who would show you the ropes and explain what you need to do.
