Thankyou
to Sue Netherton for writing the Nature Notes that we have all enjoyed reading in our Parish Link over recent months.

Sue and Roger left Bunbury at the end of January to make their new home in Cornwall and both will be greatly missed.

Regular worshippers at St. Boniface, they both took an active part in the life of the community. Roger was Scoutmaster and Chairman of the local Scouts Association and his moving leaves a void it will be hard to fill. Sue has run Guides and done various jobs quietly round the village, her chief interest being Green matters. Most recently she has been a Parish Councillor and also Treasurer of the W.I. - two important posts that now have to be filled

We thank them both for all that they have done for the village and wish them every happiness in their new home.

St. Boniface Flowers
May I say a big THANKYOU to everyone who has donated towards St. Boniface Church flower decoration at festival times.
A special Thankyou to the "A Team", Mrs. Pat Bridges, Mrs. Liz Jones, Mrs. Muriel Latham, Mrs. Eileen Overy and Mrs. Angela Realff, for all their support, and to Mrs. Cynthia Paterson, who has always donated the harvest produce for Harvest Festival decoration.
It has given me very great pleasure over many years, decorating St. Boniface,
but for personal reasons I have decided to retire.
Thank you all again.
Sandra Dykes
The Aldersey School has a new Headmistress. Having bade Goodbye to Mr. David Goodwin at the end of last term, Mrs. Alison Phillips now makes a welcome return to our community. We wish her every success and happiness in her new post.
The Bunbury Journal has learned from the Assistant Clerk to the Haberdashers for Schools and Property that Kay Capes, late chairman of the Governors of the Aldersey School (a Haberdashers' School), was remembered in the bidding prayers in the Company's Millennium Service held in St. Paul's Cathedral last November in the presence of H.R.H. the Princess Margaret.
Many old friends
will be interested to hear that the Rev. Timothy and Rosemary Atkins have moved from Farndon, where they have lived since Timothy's retirement as Vicar of this Parish, to Leicester. We hope that they settle quickly and happily into their new surroundings.
Thankyou
to Sandra Dykes, who for more than fifteen years has organised St. Boniface's flower arrangers and particularly the decorating of the church for all the special festivals.
St. Boniface - The Children's Society and the Christingle Service
