SAY
GRACE and GIVE HOPE St. Jude's is helping UNICEF, the United Nations Children's Fund, to help children growing up alone on the streets - simply by saving coins whilst saying Grace. Jar of Grace is an easy way to raise funds for UNICEF's life-saving work. UNICEF works to help and protect children in over 160 countries around the world, and relies entirely upon voluntary contributions to carry out its work. This year, funds raised from the Jar of Grace appeal will benefit children around the world who are growing up alone on the streets, without the love and support of a family and outside the protection of the state. To take part is simple - all you need to make your Jar of Grace is an empty jar and one of UNICEF's leaflets which has a special sticky label provided. Just drop a coin in the jar each mealtime and at the end of the appeal return it to Mr. R. Gardner at St. Jude's or to UNICEF. Jar of Grace provides an opportunity to give thanks for God's Grace in our lives and to make a practical gesture of help for some of the most vulnerable children in the world. |
