Dear Editor,

 

I thought it might be of interest to your readers to know that I have decided to retire as the cleaner of St. Boniface’s silver after a stint of some 35-plus years.

As a Bunburian and a committed Church supporter, I have come to this decision with considerable regret but my advancing years do not make it any easier to fulfil the task and I’m sure that there will be many younger members of the parish who will be keen to take on this important task.
