Bunbury P.C.C. Notes

·         Should the Communion wine be handed by anyone other than a Priest or Reader, provided he or she were authorised by the Bishop?  - A much discussed question. It was recognised that the congregation needed to feel comfortable about what was to Bunbury a new situation. The matter was held over for further deliberation.

·         The group Women at the Well had asked if they could be used to form a pastoral group to visit parishioners such as young mums, people in hospital and people on their own. Approval was given for normal friendly visiting, as long as they did not stray into the realms of “counselling”.

·         John Batchelor will be taking over the organ at St. Boniface for the 11.00 a.m. service on the second Sunday of each month.

·         Ernest Croley has volunteered for the job of unpaid Verger. His offer was unanimously accepted.
