During the Spring Half Term holiday, Bunbury Church was transformed into an Olympic Stadium, complete with torch and a host of “spectators”. 50 children had signed on to GO FOR GOLD. Divided up into different countries, they engaged in lots of activities all with a sports motif, coached by a small army of adults and teenagers. Great fun!
With all these witnesses to faith around us like a cloud, we must throw off every encumbrance, every sin to which we cling, and run with resolution the race for which we are entered, our eyes fixed on Jesus, on whom faith depends from start to finish. (Hebrews XII, 1-2, N.E.B.)
