Both the normal service and special retiring collections on Sunday, 5th, March at Bunbury yielded a total of £954. This amount, together with £110 from Tilstone Fearnall, enabled a cheque for £1,064 to be sent to the Mozambique Flood Relief Fund.
The Fund was also aided by the efforts of the Young Christians on Monday, 13th, March, who are to be congratulated on their "Tastes of the World" event. This event, in the Bunbury Pavilion, including a raffle and a Bring-and-Buy, yielded another £115 for the Flood Relief.
Over all, £ 1,179 was sent to the Mozambique Flood Relief Fund from the two parishes.
