A parcel to sell, string, paper and all?
For one shilling we’ll sell it, just as it comes,
And be very grateful to increase our funds.
The fifth day in August will be the date,
So if sending a parcel please do not be late;
And if for a child your parcel should be,
Will you write on the outside a capital C?
Post it or send it to the name undersigned,
And we’ll thank you sincerely for being so kind.
